Bill Dannenmaier, the Chief Executive Officer of BlackBox, has a broad background that crosses industries, functions, and cultures. He has worked in telecommunications, hospitality, consulting, education, and the military. He has worked for international corporations, small businesses, non-profit groups, and government.

He has worked in management, research and development, business development, marketing, information technology, regulatory policy, and program management. He has lived overseas and conducted business across the United States, Canada, Switzerland, the UK, Sweden, Italy, Germany, and Austria. He applies his extensive experience working in foreign languages and cultures to cross-cultural and "corporate cultural" issues.

Bill is a disabled veteran of the U.S. Navy with over 20 years of experience in managing people and projects. He is a Project Management Professional, PMP, certified by the Project Management Institute. Bill has depth of experience in the Information Technology and telecommunications industry working with government agencies, startups, and established companies.

Bill Dannenmaier is an experienced consultant and manager with over two decades of background in the leadership of people, projects, and the implementation of technology. He has developed and conducted seminars and training courses for clients, project teams, and line organizations throughout his career.

A former U.S. Naval Officer, Bill has worked in the telecommunications field in almost every aspect of the business: from regulation, to procurement, to IT Architecture, and Marketing Strategy. He has worked in and consulted to start-ups, post-merger, and established companies. He has provided expert witness testimony, economic analysis, and made filings before the U.S. Congress, Federal Communications Commission and State Regulatory Commissions. Bill worked four years as a project and program manager for two start-up telecommunications carriers in Europe. He worked as a Project Management for major procurement and IT projects for the General Services Administration, GSA, and the Office of Personnel Management, OPM.
